The complete autonomous salad, of Lucien Olivier, is a timeless accompaniment to every table in all the Balkan countries. Try it with boiled fish in an awakening of the memory of an Athenian salad or in a more modern proposal with Smoked Trout 'Pitenis'. For the more adventurous it is worth trying it in a tart with smoked cheese and bacon!

Rolls of ham and Russian salad (prepared to 20 minutes)

MATERIALS

* 200 g. Russian salad Pitenis
* 1 cup finely chopped white cabbage
* 1 tbsp. xarmyrismeni caper
* 2 sprigs of chopped celery
* ½ crab apple cut into cubes
* 1 Pinch yellow curry
* 8 thin slices of ham

EXECUTION

Mix in a bowl with the Russian cabbage, capers, celery, apple and curry. put about 1 spoonful of salad in center of each slice of ham and roll into rolls. Serve with plenty of freshly ground pepper.

Tips

• If you do not like pork ham, you can make the rolls with smoked beef loin.
