► The company ΄Pitenis ’completes half a century of life. How it all started;
The business started in 1973 by our father Agamemnon Piteni and was founded after two years of testing. ► What is your company's biggest commitment today?;
Our first and foremost concern is the safety and health of the people who trust our products. For this, we adhere to strict quality controls, from the delivery of the raw materials to the final product produced in the fully equipped chemist, for chemical and microbiological tests, that we have. All raw materials are checked for suitability upon receipt. Then, we take samples throughout production, in order to prevent any problems that may arise and thus to ensure our immediate intervention. Finally, the final product is checked, while samples are kept to check the quality of our products, until their expiration date. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the factory premises is checked, of machinery and equipment, while constantly (sampling) the special clothing and disposable medical gloves of the employees. At the same time in collaboration with university institutions, in terms of reduction to subtraction, of additive chemical raw materials (preservatives, coagulants).
