H Our company was a supporter and major sponsor of the 1st EPAL. Kozani in his two participations in the educational program “F1 in Schools”. Both teams participated with distinctive titles "Tethripon" and "Kozia".
The “F1 in Schools” is an international interdisciplinary competition that invites high school students to design, to build and compete, in speed racing with F1 miniature cars. More specifically, it is a research project for students, part of which is the construction of small F1 car models from balsa wood (the lightest wood in the world).
In the program “F1 in Schools” Greece, school period 2012 – 2013, they participated 58 groups of High School and Lyceum students, from 39 public and private schools from all over Greece, of which the 33 teams continued in the qualifying phase of the competition. The qualifiers took place on 23 Of April 2013, in the hotel Intercontinental, in Athens, in the context of the conference Cisco Connect Greece 2013.
